The Association of Camping of Fribourg

Our association was founded in 1986. 16 campings of Fribourg and 1 camping in Bern are members of our association.

It was created to have a link between the campings of our district, and to have better contacts with the state and at the national level.

Like the union makes the power, we can better defend our interests, our jobs and our customers.

Explanations :

There are three different kind of customers for our campings :

• campers of passage: one or more nights / come with their tents, their caravans, their camping-bus
• campers of season: for 6 months / come with their tents, their caravans, their camping-bus
• residential campers : remain / come with their caravans, their mobile home at least 1 year

We must register their stays and pay a tax to the Union of Tourism of Fribourg.
The nights which the campings of Fribourg make are not negligible and this kind of tourism is not ready to stop. The sites of camping which propose the district of Fribourg such as the mountain, the countryside, the edges of the lake or a water court are so attractive that there is a choice to satisfy everyone.

You can find campings with pieces which are connected directly to the worn and clean water, cabled for the TV and the telephone. You can find store, a restaurant or a refreshment bar, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a miniature golf, or many activities that will allow you to spend a good time there.

There are communal campings, campings of the Swiss Touring Club and private campings. They can be rented out or operated by the owners.

Campings have to follow certain rules such as : hygiene,security,environement respect,etc.

Camping is an enjoyable outdoors activity and is a good way to meeting other people who share the same passion.
